It's Christmas eve & for those people in NYC with a day looking to make friends & connections, let's go on a UNIQUE NYC Experience: a Hot Dog Crawl (with beers!!)

All the famous tourist areas on this day are really packed anyway so this event will DEFINITELY be interesting!

We will try Classic NYC Famous hot dog places AND unique ones new in the city. Good thing about hot dogs is that they are inexpensive so we can have one at each location!

Once you finish that Sunday laundry, grocery shopping, planning for the week or finally recovered from that hangover last night - come to our WEEKLY Sunday social to relax & make new connections!

NYC Connects creates & hosts local NYC events. Perfect for those new to NYC, young & not-so-young professionals, we are a relaxed environment for people to meet and make friends over activities. Must be 21 years of age and older for Bar events.

We meet @ WHISKEY TRADER this Sunday for a GREAT $10 Expresso Martini & $5 Bud lights Happy Hour. Don't have to drink alcohol to join! Just support venue by purchasing a soft beverage at least.

Nearby is Ray's Pizza so we can turn this into a pizza party for everyone - you can also optionally bring food to this bar! There is a taco place & 5 guys (burgers) place on same block if you want as well.

This is NOT a Singles event. This means no aggressiveness, rude or pressuring behavior towards anyone. People that join event focused on finding dates or getting phone numbers are removed from group - our organizers are in the event keeping on eye everyone. It's easy to tell thirsty folk! Organizer reserves right to remove anyone for any reason. So if attending, Come, chill, be nice, make friends

PLEASE HONOR your RSVP if signed up, or UPDATE it if there's a change. 2 strikes rule, we REMOVE people that fail to honor their RSVP or notify organizer of a change. If you regularly attend events overall, this rule is more relaxed; this applies to new club members. We are strict on this because fellow club members make time out of schedules to attend events expecting to meet people - Also, organizer makes reservations for group as well and we lose places because of flakey members. This is a fun social club, please respect the effort we put into creating these events.

We charge affordable fees for events - We pay $600 per year MINIMUM in organizing costs, not to mention all the work we put in to create these events for you! Meetup charges organizers FYI, things you don't see as an attendee. Plus, we have website fees, printing posters, laminates, stickers, & transportation costs as we physically go to possible new venues and create partnerships with management beforehand.

Come and meet your neighbors living in Queens over a drink after work. Chat about things to do and see in NYC and your neighborhoods, meet other people to plan upcoming NYC Connects events to go to together.

We are meeting at a REALLY Unique and FUN Colombian restaurant called "el basurero" which means "the Garbageman". When you come you'll understand why thats the name of the restaurant haha
