True Crime Thursdays: MISOGYNISTIC TERRORISM - Case of Elliot Rodger (2014)

We're starting off the New Year with a deep dive into misogynistic violence. We will be discussing the case of Elliot Rodger.

On May 23, 2014, near the campus of University of CA - Santa Barbara, Elliot Rodger went on a violent rampage (killing 6/injuring 14) before taking his own life. Rodger's 137-paged manifesto detailed his struggle to date, blamed his virgin state on the "cruelty of women," and outlined plans for a day of retribution. He shared this with family, friends, therapist and even shared it online before enacting.

Why are sexually frustrated men turning to violent extremism? Let's discuss why and how this movement is growing.
